Andy Trelford has been working in education ICT support since 2001, holding several different roles including ICT training, ICT support to schools and ICT Systems Management.Andy has years of experience in strategic ICT planning, ICT project management and project delivery as well as help desk management and technical support. He is experienced in Windows Server technologies, Microsoft Active Directory infrastructure design, support and troubleshooting and has worked with latest technologies including virtualisation with VMWare and Microsoft Hyper-V platforms and Voice over IP telephony implementation.Andy has managed and supported a wide range of classroom ICT equipment, from desktops and laptops to printers, projectors and Interactive Whiteboards as well as software support of Virtual Learning Environments, Websites, databases and productivity software such as MS Office. He also has experience in installation of building access control systems, CCTV, broadband provision, networking technologies and infrastructure.
Ian Johnson started work in IT in 1998 when he worked for First Stop Computer Group, providing IT services to customers across London and the UK in document management and workflow systems. After 4 years, he moved to the CrEdIT ICT service to provide support to Croydon schools. He worked for CrEdIT for 5 years before moving to Croydon Council as a senior ICT officer where he was responsible for the support and maintenance of the authorities central student data systems. Ian studied for his degree in computing through part time evening study whilst in full time employment. He graduated with a first in July 2006.Ian has experience in software design and development, website design and implementation, document management and workflow systems, RDBMS systems such as Oracle and MS SQL Server, Active Directory design and implementation, PC and Mac systems, networking and the support of the hardware and software required for computer systems small and large.
Richard Whitehead has worked within the education sector since 1994, moving into ICT Support in 1997. He was a founding member of the Croydon Education IT support service which was formed in the year 2000 to provide ICT support to Croydon schools and the Local Education Authority. He worked for 8 years in this role before moving on to work in Croydon's Adult Education Service in 2008.Richard is well experienced in supporting and troubleshooting all aspects of ICT infrastructure from networks and servers to desktops and peripherals. In his role a a Senior ICT Support Officer, Richard has been heavily involved in project work and has been responsible for operational planning, delivery and training across a wide range of areas. Richard has delivered bespoke training sessions to large numbers of people in the use of Management Software and services, as well as providing mentoring, peer support and training to many junior colleagues over the years.Richard is experienced in a wide range of technologies which includes server hardware installation and support, Windows Server technologies such as MS SQL and Exchange as well as Microsoft Active Directory infrastructure design, support and troubleshooting. Richard has worked with latest technologies including virtualisation with VMWare and Microsoft Hyper-V platforms and Voice over IP telephony systems. He has many years experience in supporting and installing new desktop hardware and of rolling out new software and applications both small and large in scale.
